Outdoor Rolling Tire Chair

I am creating a chair that looks like a tire and you can roll it. I have sketches that I am going to post later. I started my chair with the base geometry for the top half and oriented planes radially around the center with 16 segments.

Next step is to create arc for seat, divide it with several points, project them flat and prepare for future tweaks.

The Chair back will be a curve. By the way, it is not quite a chair ... it is a bench for 6 people to seat on. 3 people will have backs. I will need to cut off negative values for the back.

Next step is sweep it into the shape.

Rendering of this model did not look good and I decide to try out secnd approach. Draw in curves, rotate them around and loft them. But this approach created even ugier surfaces.

I think I need to go to first algorythm rendering and just do a more detailed work with it to geg what I want.

I ended up modeling it in solid works.
